Figure Description

This version of Sgt Smasher was available carded in India in 1993. G.I.Joe toys in India were produced by the Funskool toy company.

Note that this figure is based on the G.I.Joe personality, Sgt Slaughter. However, when marketed in Europe and in India, the word "slaughter" was substituted with "smasher".

Accessories:

Sgt Smasher came with a brown baton.

Body Construction:

The figure is made from the exact same mold of the U.S. release of Sgt Slaughter (v4) (1989).

However, note that the whistle around his neck is colored black, while the U.S. version has a brown whistle. There is also a brown whistle variant that looks just like the U.S. version.

In addition, the Indian plastic used is of a lower quality.
