Figure Description:

Storm Shadow (version 4) was released carded in the thirteenth series (1994) as part of the Shadow Ninjas subset. The Shadow Ninjas figures were numbered 37 through 42 - Storm Shadow was number 38.

Storm Shadow was discontinued in 1994.

In 2006, a Tommy Arashikage figure was released, showing Storm Shadow from his years prior to Cobra and G.I.Joe.

Accessories:

Storm Shadow came with three different blue swords, a blue knife, blue nunchuks, two blue claws, and a blue figure stand.

All of Storm Shadow's accessories came attached to one plastic "tree". The accessories were removed from the tree.

There are no known variations of Storm Shadow.

Body Construction:

Storm Shadow (version 4) was created using the same mold used to create Storm Shadow (v3) (1992) and T'Gin-Zu (1993). This mold was also later used to create Storm Shadow (v6) (2000), Storm Shadow (v9) (2002), and Storm Shadow (v12) (2004). The chest, arms, waist, and legs were re-used in 1993 to create Ken Masters and Ken Masters (v2).

Like all Shadow Ninja figures, Storm Shadow had inviso power. When exposed to water and light, the figure's color would change.

Like all the Ninja Force figures, Storm Shadow's body was designed with a "real ninja move". If Storm Shadow's left arm was raised, the right arm would move back. The left arm could then be let go, causing the right arm to spring forward in a punching motion.

Note that there are two cloth ribbons attached to Storm Shadow's right hip.
