This recolored version of the 30th Anniversary Action Pilot was only available at the 1994 G.I.Joe Convention. This "FX Convention" Action Pilot came in its own collector's box.

The uniform design itself, with red, white, and blue striping down the arms and legs, as well as G.I. Joe logos on the legs, is patterned after the jumpsuits of the G.I. Joe Skydiving Team touring the country at the time.

Accessories:

Action Pilot came with a black helmet, a gray airmask, a black backpack, and a working parachute.

Variations:

The parachute came in two different versions. One was white and blue, while the other was silver and black. The white and blue version was available to "The Officer's Club", while the silver and black version was available to both "The Officer's Club" and "Enlisted Club".

Body Construction:

Action Pilot's mold was also used that same year to create the individually boxed Action Pilot and Action Pilot (v2).

Action Pilot also shares his upper arms and left upper leg with G.I.Joe (1994), Action Soldier, and Action Marine.

While not an action figure exactly, in 1998 the mold was used to create the Action Pilot Keychain.
