Figure Description:

Payload was released carded in the thirteenth series (1994) as part of the Star Brigade subset. The earlier 1994 Star Brigade figures were numbered 20 through 27 - Payload was number 26.

Payload was discontinued in 1994.

• Version Three (1993)
• Version Four (1993)
• Version Five (1994)

Accessories:

Payload came with four gray weapons, a gold missile launcher (spring loaded, actually fired), two gray missiles, and a gray figure stand.

Except for the missile launcher, all of Payload's accessories came attached to one plastic "tree". The accessories were removed from the tree.

Variations:

There are no known variations of Payload.

A few left-over black/blue versions of Payload (v4) (1993) were released in 1994 with the same packaging as the white/red Payload (v5). As a result, there are a few carded figures with the white/red Payload card art but with the black/blue Payload (v4).

Body Construction:

Payload was created using the same mold originally used to create the Eco-Warrior Barbecue (v3). The same mold was also shared with Payload (v3) and Payload (v4).
