Payload (version 4) was first released carded as part of the thirteenth series (1994) as part of the Star Brigade subset. Payload (v4) was released with the same packaging art as Payload (v5).
He was discontinued domestically in 1994.

Accessories
Payload came with four gray weapons, a gold missile launcher (spring loaded, actually fired), two gray missiles, and a gray figure stand.
Except for the missile launcher, all of Payload's accessories came attached to one plastic "tree." The accessories were removed from the tree.

Payload was created using the same mold as Eco-Warriors Barbecue (1992). The mold was also used in 1993 to create Payload (v3) and in 1994 to create Payload (v5).
