Flint (v4) was released carded in the thirteenth series (1994) as part of the Battle Corps subset. The Battle Corps figures were numbered 1 through 14 - Flint was number 1.
Flint (v4) was discontinued in 1994.

Accessories
Flint (v4) came with three black rifles, an orange missile launcher (spring loaded, actually fired), two black missiles, a tan beret with goggles, and a black figure stand.
Except for the helmet and missile launcher, all of Flint's accessories came attached to one plastic "tree." The accessories were removed from the tree.

Variations
There were two variants of the Flint action figure. The first variant has black highlights on the figure's legs. The second variant does not. The variant without the highlights is pictured left - the variant with highlights is pictured right.
There are also two variants of the packaging. The earlier first variant featured the G.I.Joe logo horizontally at the top of the card. The filecard on the back of the packaging was the "standard" size. The later second variant featured the G.I.Joe logo vertically on the left side of the card and the filecard was reduced down to "baseball card" size.
Body Construction
Flint (v4)'s body is entirely original - no parts were taken from other figures.
Flint (v4)'s mold was re-used to create Rock n Roll (v6) / Flint (v6) (2001).
