Beach-Head was released carded in the thirteenth series (1994) as part of the Battle Corps subset. The Battle Corps figures were numbered 1 through 14 - Beach-Head was number 6.
Beach-Head was discontinued in 1994.

Accessories
Beach-Head came with a yellow rifle, two yellow handguns, a black missile launcher (spring loaded, actually fired), two yellow missiles, a yellow knife, and a yellow figure stand.
Except for the missile launcher, all of Beach-Head's accessories came attached to one plastic "tree." The accessories were removed from the tree.

Variations
There are two variants of Beach-Head's packaging and filecard. The earlier first variant featured the G.I.Joe logo horizontally at the top of the card. The filecard on the back of the packaging was the "standard" size. The later second variant featured the G.I.Joe logo vertically on the left side of the card and the filecard was reduced down to "baseball card" size.

The entire mold of Beach-Head was originally used in 1993 to create Beach-Head (v2).
