MASTER OF DISGUISE
Series: Twelve (1993)
Zartan (version 2) was released carded as part of the twelfth series (1993) as part of the Ninja Force subset. The 1993 Ninja Force figures were numbered 1 through 7 - Zartan was number 2.
Zartan was discontinued domestically in 1994.
Zartan came with an orange bow, an orange sword, an orange machete, an orange sickle, two orange knives, and an orange figure stand.
All of Zartan's accessories came attached to one plastic "tree." The accessories were removed from the tree.
Primary Specialty: Master of Disguise
Motto: "My personality changes as often as my looks...and they're both BAD!"
Zartan can alter his skin color at will to blend in with his environment. He is a master of make-up and disguise, a ventriloquist, a linguist (he speaks over twenty languages and dialects), an acrobatic-contortionist and a practitioner of numerous mystical martial arts. Little is known about his background, but captured Cobra documents revealed reports listing him to be "as lethal as a two-headed rattler disguised as a garter snake." He changes appearances and personalities so often that even he can't keep track of them!
1. Kusarifundo assault chain
2. Sword blocking forearm guards
3. Flexi-plate shin guards

No variations of Zartan (v2) are known to exist.
Zartan's body was original - no parts were taken from other figures.
Like all the Ninja Force figures, Zartan's body was designed with a "real ninja move." Zartan's upper body could be twisted back to his right, then released, causing it to spring forward in a punching motion.
