Beachhead n. A designated area on a hostile or potentially hostile shore that, when seized and held, ensures the continuous landing of troops and materiel, and provides maneuver space requisite for subsequent projected operations ashore. (DOD Dictionary of Military and Associated Terms 12/17/2003)

Ranger n. Rapidly deployable airborne light infantry organized and trained to conduct highly complex joint direct action operations in coordination with or in support of other special operations units of all Services. Rangers also can execute direct action operations in support of conventional nonspecial operations missions conducted by a combatant commander and can operate as conventional light infantry when properly augmented with other elements of combined arms. The armor plated assault helmet identified on the filecard is more specifically a PROTEC helmet (standard for CQB SEALs, Marines, and Delta) with standard issue non-shattering goggles and his trademark balaclava. Beach-Head also wears a Nomex flight suit and gloves (standard for CQB) along with a black tactical vest over what appears to be a PASGT armor vest (which the filecard identifies as a flame resistant combat suit with two bullet proof vests and armor plated "one punch" assault gloves).

On the right side of his vest, the filecard indicates that he carries two XJT-baseball grenades.

On his vest's left side, Beach-Head carries a microphone for the AN/PRC-127 Motorola radio (standard issue).

According to the filecard, Beachhead's primary weapon is a G.I.Joe special issue double sub-machine gun.

Combat knife.

Beach-Head carries two identical sidearms on each leg. While they could be one of several types, the filecard indicates that they are Colt .45 "quick draw" pistols.
