Robo-JOE was released carded as part of the twelfth series (1993) as part of the Star Brigade: Armor-Tech subset.
It was discontinued domestically in 1994.

Accessories
Robo-JOE came with three different gold guns, a gold machete, a black helmet, an orange missile launcher that attached to his shoulder (spring loaded, actually fired), two gold missiles, and a gold figure stand.
Except for the missile launcher and helmet, all of Robo-JOE's accessories came attached to one plastic "tree." The accessories were removed from the tree.
The missile launcher was recolored silver and available with Rock 'N Roll (v4).

Body Construction
Like other Armor-Tech figures, Robo-JOE had very limited articulation. There is no "backpack screw" in the back of the figure, so the figure cannot be opened using a screw driver.
Robo-JOE shares the same legs with Duke (v5) and General Hawk (v4); arms with Rock 'N Roll (v4) and General Hawk (v4). Robo-Joe's head and torso are unique.
