RED NINJAS (v1)
BATTLE AX OPERATORS
Series: Twelve (1993)
Red Ninjas was released as part of the twelfth series (1993) as part of the Ninja Force subset and came packaged exclusively with the Battle Ax vehicle.
Red Ninjas and the Battle Ax was discontinued domestically in 1994.
Red Ninjas came with an orange axe.
No variations of Red Ninjas (v1) are known to exist.
Red Ninjas' body was originally used in 1992 to create Dice.
Like all the Ninja Force figures, Red Ninjas' body was designed with a "real ninja move." Red Ninjas was designed with a spring-action hip. So if Red Ninjas' left arm was pushed back, his upper torso turned left. When the arm was let go, the torso sprang back forward - thus creating a round-house punching motion with the left arm.
Versions of Red Ninja
In 2004, Red Ninja was renamed "Red Ninja Viper," then called "Red Ninja" again in 2007. So while there are several names, they are all based on the character "Red Ninja."
