Desimone Guide: #509

Carded Figure

Edmond Honda's Filecard

Figure Description:

Edmond Honda was released carded in the twelfth series (1993) as part of Capcom's Street Fighter 2 subset. The Street Fighter 2 figures were numbered 1 through 12 - Edmond Honda was number 7.

He was discontinued domestically in 1994.

Versions of Edmond Honda:

This was the only version of Edmond Honda ever released.

A Street Fighter Movie version of Edmond Honda was released in 1994, but the Street Fighter Movie figures are not considered G.I.Joe figures.

Accessories:

Edmond Honda came with two dark blue swords, a dark blue axe, a dark blue sickle, a dark blue wide knife, two dark blue dueling knives, and a dark blue figure stand.

All of Edmond Honda's accessories came attached to one plastic "tree". The accessories were removed from the tree.

Variations:

There are no known variations of Edmond Honda.

Body Construction:

Edmond Honda's body is entirely original - no parts were taken from other figures and no parts were ever re-used.

The body was designed with a martial arts action - "Hundred Hand Slap." Edmond Honda's legs could be squeezed together, causing the figure's head to come down in a head-butt action.
