Dhalsim was released carded in the twelfth series (1993) as part of Capcom's Street Fighter 2 subset. The Street Fighter 2 figures were numbered 1 through 12 - Dhalsim was number 8.
He was discontinued domestically in 1994.
Accessories
Dhalsim came with a purple bow, a purple sword, a purple machete, a purple sickle, two purple knives, and a purple figure stand.
All of Dhalsim's accessories came attached to one plastic "tree." The accessories were removed from the tree.

Variations
No variations of Dhalsim (v1) are known to exist.
Body Construction
Dhalsim's body is entirely original - no parts were taken from other figures and no parts were ever re-used.
The body was designed with a martial arts action - "Fire Fist." Dhalsim's right arm could be pushed back, then released, causing it to spring forward in a upper-cut punching motion.
Versions of Dhalsim
This was the only version of Dhalsim ever released.
A Street Fighter Movie version of Dhalsim was released in 1994, but the Street Fighter Movie figures are not considered G.I.Joe figures.
