Crimson Guard Commander was released carded as part of the twelfth series (1993). The 1993 Battle Corps figures were numbered 1 through 36 - Crimson Guard Commander was number 23.
He was discontinued domestically in 1994.
Versions of Crimson Guard Commander:
This was the only version of Crimson Guard Commander ever released.
Accessories:
Crimson Guard Commander came with four black guns, a yellow missile launcher (spring loaded, actually fired), two black missiles, and a black figure stand.
Except for the missile launcher, all of Crimson Guard Commander's accessories came attached to one plastic "tree". The accessories were removed from the tree.

Crimson Guard Commander's body is entirely original - no parts were taken from other figures and no parts were ever re-used.
