Figure Description:
Budo (version 2) was available mail-order in 1993 as part of the International Action Force four pack. The International Action Force set included Big Bear (v2), Big Ben (v2), and Spirit (v4).
The set was discontinued domestically in 1994.

Versions of Budo:
A third version of Budo was supposed to be released in 1995 as part of the Ninja Commandos but was never released. However, the mold was re-used in 1996 to create the Mortal Kombat Movie Edition of Shang Tsung.

Accessories:
Budo came with a silver sword, a blue and orange helmet, and a black figure stand.
The silver ornamental piece on top of Budo's helmet can be removed with some effort, but is not intended to be removable.

Variations:
There are no known variations of Budo.

Body Construction:
Budo's entire mold was originally used in 1988 to create Budo.
Note that there is a silver hook on Budo's waist. The hook supports Budo's sword.
