Figure Description:

Slice was released carded as part of the eleventh series (1992) as part of the Ninja Force subset. He was discontinued domestically in 1993.

Variations:

Some versions of Slice have been found with small notches at the bottom of the torso to keep the figure's waist from turning all the way around. Otherwse have no notches and have a rounded lower torso like regular figures. Neither variant is harder to find than the other.

Body Construction:

Slice's body is entirely original - no parts were taken from other figures.

Slice's entire mold was re-used in 1993 to create Slice (v2) in 1994 to create Shadow Ninjas Slice (v3), and in 2002 to create Slice (v4). Except for the head, the body mold was used in 1993 to create Street Fighter 2 Ryu and Ryu (v2).

Like all the Ninja Force figures, Slice's body was designed with a "real ninja move". Slice's spring-loaded right arm could be pushed back, then released, causing it to spring forward in a punching motion.

Note that Slice has two cloth ribbons attached to his right hip.
