Shockwave (version 3) was released carded as part of the eleventh series (1992) as part of the Drug Elimination Force (D.E.F.) subset. He was discontinued domestically in 1993.
Accessories
Shockwave came with a black helmet, a black assault rifle, a yellow Electronic Battle-Flash Battering Ram Tank (spring loaded, that actually fired), a black battering-ram missile, and a black figure stand.
The Electronic Battle-Flash Battering Ram Tank not only was spring loaded, but it also included a small light inside. When the grappling hook was fired, it would light up.

Body Construction
Shockwave's body is entirely original - no parts were taken from other figures.
The entire mold was re-used in 2002 to create Sure Fire (v2).
The chest, arms, waist, and legs of Shockwave were later re-colored and re-used to create Sure Fire (2001).
The lower arms were ruesed to make Agent Faces (v2) (2003), Crimson Guard (v3) (2004), Crimson Guard (v4) (2004), and Crimson Guard (v5) (2004).
Versions of Shockwave
In 2008, Shockwave was renamed "Shockblast." So while there are multiple names, they are all based on the character "Shockwave."
