Rescue Trooper
Code Name:
Lifeline
version three
Desimone Guide: #228
Tomart's Guide: #GI6541
|
Figure Description:
Lifeline was available as a mail-in offer in 1991. On specially marked packages of Kellogg's Rice Krispies cereal, an offer was available to receive Lifeline via mail-order.
|
Versions of Lifeline:
In 2004, Lifeline was renamed "Sgt. Lifeline". So while there are several names, there are a total of six figures with the name "Lifeline".
Also note that the figures have two different file names. Versions One, Two, and Four are named Edwin C. Steen, version Three did not come with a file card, and version five and Sgt. Lifeline are named Greg Scott.
|
Accessories:

Lifeline came with a white rescue pack and a silver backpack.
|
Variations:
There are no known variations of Lifeline.
|
Body Construction:
Lifeline's body is entirely original - no parts were taken from other figures. None of his parts were ever used to create other figures.
Lifeline's head, chest, arms, and waist were originally used to create the original Lifeline (1986). The legs were recolored from the original Frostbite (1985).
The original Lifeline has a black pistol and holster molded to his right thigh. Kellogg's didn't want their mail-in offer action figure to have any weapons, so the legs from Frostbite were repainted and substituted.
