Rapid Fire was released carded as part of the ninth series (1990). He was discontinued domestically in 1991.

Webmaster's Note:
It was common practice for Hasbro to name and/or sculpt G.I.Joe characters after real-life individuals. For Rapid Fire, the character is named "Robbie London" - after an executive at DIC Animation. Fitting, since Rapid Fire included a free video tape with a DIC G.I.Joe episode.

Accessories:

Rapid Fire came with a bright green helmet and a bright green submachine gun.
Rapid Fire also came with a free video tape with the DIC G.I.Joe cartoon, Revenge of the Pharaohs.

Body Construction:
Rapid Fire's body is taken from the exact same mold of the Super Trooper (1988).
The head was originally used with Knockdown. His chest (not including the armor pieces) was originally used with Outback. His waist and arms were originally used with Wet-Suit. His legs were originally used with Zandar.
