Range Viper was released carded as part of the ninth series (1990). He was discontinued domestically in 1991.

Range Viper came with a black grenade launcher (with a removable black chamber), a dark gray backpack, a black knife, a black hose, a gray missile launcher, and a gray missile.

Body Construction:

Range Viper's body is entirely original - no parts were taken from other figures.

The entire mold was re-used in 2000 to create Rock Viper (v2), Skull Buster (2002), and Range-Viper (v2) (2006).
