Laser Viper was released carded as part of the ninth series (1990). He was discontinued domestically in 1991.
Accessories
Laser Viper came with a silver helmet, a silver backpack, a silver handle (that attached to the backpack), two black hoses, and two silver shoulder guns (that attached to the backpack).
The shoulder guns are composed of the barrel and the base that snap together. With some effort, the shoulder guns can be separated from the swiveling base.

Laser Viper's body is entirely original - no parts were taken from other figures. Laser Viper's entire mold was re-used to make Laser Viper (v3) (2003).
