Lampreys (v2) was first released carded as part of the ninth series (1990) as part of the Sonic Fighters He was discontinued domestically in 1991.

Accessories:

Lamprey came with a black sniper rifle, another black rifle, a black futuristic gun, a black submachine gun, and a large black backpack with buttons that made four different electronic battle sounds.
