Figure Description:

Backblast was first released carded as part of the eighth series (1989). He was also sold in 1990 and was discontinued domestically in 1991.

Accessories:

Backblast came with a green two-piece missle launcher system, three red missles, a gray knife, a black monocular, and an orange bandolier.

Body Construction:

Backblast's body is entirely original - no parts were taken from other figures.

Backblast's head, torso, waist, and legs were later recolored and re-used to create Backblast (v2).
