Shockwave's entire mold was re-used and re-colored to create Night Force Shockwave (v2). Shockwave's waist and legs were re-used and recolored in 1993 to create Beach-Head (v2).

In 2008, Shockwave was renamed "Shockblast." So while there are multiple names, they are all based on the character "Shockwave."
