Series: Six (1987)
Jinx was first released carded as part of the sixth series (1987). She was also sold in 1988 and was discontinued domestically in 1989.
In 1989, Jinx was available mail-order from Hasbro Direct.
Jinx came with a black backpack, two ninja-to swords that could fit in the backpack, and a silver naginata.
Birthplace: Los Angeles, California

Secondary Specialty: Finance Clerk
Jinx studied and competed in three forms of martial arts from the time she was seven until she graduated from Bryn Mawr. Upon arriving in Japan for a vacation, she discovered that her family had been ninjas for generations and she was officially initiated into the clan. Jinx was recruited for the Joe team by Snake-Eyes.
"Don't underestimate Jinx. She has been to the Secret Mountain and studied the Seven Silent Forms with the Blind Master. She has the Eye That Pierces, the Iron Hand and the Heart That Waits. She can see through your deception, batter aside your defenses and dazzle you with the strength of her will."
There are two versions of Jinx's filecard. The one that came from Hasbro Direct has a glossy red backing, while the one that came on card does not.
Jinx's body is completely original - all new body parts. Jinx's body was later re-used to create Vypra (1998) and Agent Jinx (2003).
The body mold was re-used to create the G.I.Joe Convention Exclusive Undercover Jinx in 1993.
Versions of Jinx
In 2003, Jinx was renamed "Agent Jinx" and in 2012 renamed "Kim Arashikage." So while there are several names, they are all based on the character "Jinx."
