Variations:

There are two versions of the Viper packaging and filecard. The early packaging and filecards read Viper. Later, the packaging read Vipers.

Body Construction:

Viper's body is completely original - all new body parts.

The entire Viper body was re-used to create Python Viper (v2) (1989) and Viper (v3) (1990).

Viper's waist and legs were re-used to create Dr. Mindbender (v2) (1993). Viper's head, chest, and arms were re-used to create Viper (v5) (1997), Cobra Officer (v2) (1998), Cobra Trooper (1998), Cobra Viper (v6) (2002), Cobra Viper (v7) (2002), Cobra Viper (v8) (2003), and Cobra Viper (v9) (2003).
