Lifeline was released carded as part of the fifth series (1986). He was also available in 1987 and was discontinued in 1988. This Lifeline should not be confused with the 1991 mail-in Lifeline (v3). While the two look alike at first glance, the legs of the 1991 Lifeline are different.

Lifeline came with a silver handgun, a silver backpack, a white medical case, and a black airmask.

Lifeline's body is completely original - all new body parts.
Lifeline's entire mold was re-used in 1988 to create Tiger Force Lifeline. Lifeline's head, chest, arms, and waist were re-used for the 1991 mail-in Lifeline (v3).
Versions of Lifeline
In 2004, Lifeline was renamed "Sgt. Lifeline." Note that most versions are named Edwin C. Steen. Version Three did not come with a file card, and version five and Sgt. Lifeline are named Greg Scott.
