Claymore's Filecard

Figure Description:

Claymore was released as part of the fifth series (1986) in the Toys R Us exclusive Special Mission Brazil boxed set. The boxed set included Dialtone v2, Leatherneck v2, Mainframe v2, and Wet Suit v2.

Versions of Claymore:

This was the only version of Claymore ever released.

Accessories:

Claymore came with a green helmet and a black uzi.

A few Claymores came with another version of the Uzi (see Variations below).

Be careful not to mistake Claymore's helmet with Footloose's helmet. Both are the same mold, but Footloose's has brown features painted on it. The same mold was also used for a helmet included in one of the G.I.Joe Battle Gear accessory packs.

Variations:

Some versions of Claymore were packaged with another version of the Uzi. The common one is the black Uzi pictured above. However, some Claymores are known to have come with the black Uzi that came with figures such as Lowlight and Law & Order (pictured below).

Body Construction:

Claymore's body was entirely made from other figures. His head was a repaint of the head of Footloose, his chest was a repaint of Tele-Viper, his waistpiece and arms were from Flint, and his legs were from Dusty.
