Variations:

B.A.T.s have been found in two versions. One version has bright yellow paint highlights - the others have orange paint highlights. Neither version is more difficult to find than the other.

There is also a noticable variation in the BAT packaging and filecard. The early packaging named it B.A.T.. Later, the packaging read B.A.T.S..

Body Construction:

B.A.T.'s body is completely original - all new body parts.

B.A.T.'s legs and waist were recolored and re-used to create Viper (v5) (1997), Cobra Officer (v2) (1998), Cobra Trooper (1998), Viper (v6) (2002), Viper (v7) (2002), Viper (v8) (2003), and Viper (v9) (2003).

International Variants:

In Brazil, the B.A.T.'s chest was cardboard instead of a hologram and it was released as Roboid.

In India, the B.A.T.'s chest was painted instead of the hologram.
