Torch was first released as part of the fourth series (1985). He was also available in 1986 and was discontinued in 1987.

Variations
There at least are three versions of Torch's filecard. The first filecard, released in 1985, is tan. The second filecard, released in 1986, is gray. The third version is also gray and has added the text, Later rode with the Melbourne Maulers M.C.. It is unclear which - if any - version is more difficult to find.
Body Construction
Torch's body is completely original - all new body parts.
Note that Torch's head only turns left and right - it does not have the head "ball" that allowed a figure's head to swivel back and forth. Other figures from this series had the new head "ball." It's clear that this figure was designed in 1984.
