Variations

There are two versions of Mutt's helmet - one version has holes drilled in the sides and the other version does not have holes.

Some releases of Mutt feature brighter brown paint on his paints. The exact nature of this variation is unknown at this time, though speculation suggests this could be a European variant of the figure.

Body Construction

Mutt's body mold is entirely original and not made up from previous molds.

Mutt's entire mold was re-used in 1989 for the Slaughters Marauders Mutt (v2).

Mutt's thighs (or upper legs) were recolored and re-used to create Dr. Mindbender (1986).

Note that the figure's head only turns left and right - it does not allow the head to look up and down. The heads only turned left and right until the the swivel ball head that was introduced in 1985 (Series Four).

International Variants

In the United Kingdom and Europe, Mutt was released on Action Force cards. In 1991, Mutt would be recolored and released as a European exclusive Mutt.

In Brazil in 1986, Mutt was released as Cão Bravio, Codename: Mastim.

In Mexico, Auriken would release Mutt boxed with the Anti-Aircraft Gun.
