Clutch (v2) was released in the third series (1984), packaged exclusively with the VAMP Mark II. This version of Clutch was discontinued domestically in 1985.
At some point - Clutch was also available through Hasbro Direct.

Body Construction
Clutch (v2) was created from the same mold as the Clutch (v1.5).
His head and arms were also used for Breaker and Rock N Roll. Clutch's waist-piece was shared with twelve of the original fifteen figures. Clutch's legs were shared with Breaker, Grunt, Hawk, Rock N Roll, Short-fuze, Stalker, Steeler, Zap, and Tan Grunt.
Note that the figure's head only turns left and right - it does not allow the head to look up and down. The heads only turned left and right until the the swivel ball head that was introduced in 1985 (Series Four).
Versions of Clutch
In 2003, Clutch was renamed "Double Clutch." So while there are several names, they are all based on the character "Clutch."
