A.V.A.C. (version 3) was released in the "Crimson Strike" set for the 50th Anniversary line as a 2015 San Diego Comic Con International exclusive. The set also included Alley Viper Officer (v2), Grunt (v14), Steeler (v7), the Cobra Scythe, and the G.I. Joe Chimera.
A.V.A.C. came with a black submachine gun, a black and red submachine gun, a silver and black knife, and a black and gold display stand.

A.V.A.C. (Air Viper, Advanced Class) pilots are selected from the Air Viper ranks. Those who demonstrate exceptional piloting and navigational skills are chosen to receive advanced training to fly cutting-edge COBRA fighter jets with minimal pilot instrumentation to increase speed and maneuverability. One A.V.A.C. pilot flies a Cobra Scythe prototype when COBRA forces invade a city, and is fired upon by Ralph "Steeler" Pulaski, who's defending the city in the G.I. Joe Chimera tank!
