Star-Viper (version 2) was released in an exclusive wave of Echo vehicles with the Sand Serpent for the Rise of Cobra line in 2011.
The Sand Serpent and Star-Viper were intended for normal retail release in early 2010, but for reasons not officially known, ended up appearing at discount retailer Ross in January 2011.

Body Construction
Star-Viper (version 2) was created using the torso, waist, and upper legs of Capt. Ace (2008) and the upper arms and hands of Snow Job (v3) (2008), the lower arms, lower legs, and feet of Air-Viper (v2) (2009), and a new head.
