Rock Viper (version 4) was released in the fourth wave of figures for the Pursuit of Cobra line in 2011.

Rock Viper (version 4) was re-released with the "Rock Rampage" set in the 50th Anniversary line in 2015. The set also included Albert "Alpine" Pine (v5) and Cobra Shock Trooper.

Accessories

Rock Viper came with a black helmet, a black backpack with two black grappling hooks connected by black string, a black spear, a black rifle, a black submachine gun, a black pistol, a black knife, a black and silver piton, and a black display stand.



The 50th Anniversary release came with the same accessories except the display stand was black and gold.

Packaging Information

Variations

The two releases were nearly identical in every way. The only differences are the shade of red paint is slightly different(only noticeable when compared side-by-side) and the forearms use different colors of plastic. The Pursuit Of Cobra release has flesh colored plastic with the arm guards painted red. The 50th Anniversary release had red colored plastic with flesh painted on.

Body Construction

Rock Viper (version 4) was created using the head of Para-Viper (2009), the torso, waist, upper arms, and hands of Jungle-Viper (v3) (2010), the upper legs of Beachhead (v15) (2010), and the lower arms, lower legs, and feet of Snake Eyes (v53) (2010).
