Ice Storm was released with the Polar Sharc Submarine as part of Ross-exclusive a wave of Alpha vehicles for the Rise of Cobra line in 2011.
This wave was intended for release in early 2010, and even appeared on store shelves in Canada at that time. For reasons not officially known, this wave was delayed. Eventually, these toys appeared in secondary retailer stores, primarily Ross, beginning in March 2011.
