Dusty (version 13) was released with the Desert Rockslide A.T.A.V. as part of a Ross-exclusive wave of Alpha vehicles for the Rise of Cobra line in 2011.
This wave was intended for release in early 2010, and even appeared on store shelves in Canada at that time. For reasons not officially known, this wave was delayed. Eventually, these toys appeared in secondary retailer stores, primarily Ross, beginning in March 2011.

Dusty (version 13) was created using the entire mold of Dusty (v12) (2008).
Versions of Dusty
Note that version Thirteen came out after version Fourteen. Version Thirteen was intended to be released prior to version Fourteen, and was indeed available in Canada in the proper order. For reasons not officially known, the release of version Thirteen was delayed in the United States until the following year. We have opted to retain the originally-intended release numbers.
