NEO-VIPERS are cold-blooded commandos whose bodies and minds have been altered to change them into warriors incapable of fear or pain. Their enhanced physical abilities make the inhumanly strong, fast and deadly, and their advanced composite body armor resists most ammunition.
Variations
When packaged in the "Attack on the G.I. Joe Pit Headquarters," the "Troop Builder 5 Pack, Set 2 of 2," and the "Heetseek Missile System" sets, Neo-Viper did not come with his missile launcher and missile.
Additionally, the Neo-Viper released in the "Attack on the G.I. Joe Pit Headquarters" set is missing the paint wipes on his hands.
Body Construction
Neo-Viper (version 9) was created using the body of M.A.R.S. Industries Trooper (2009) with a new head.
Versions of Neo-Viper
In 2009, Neo-Viper was renamed "Crimson Neo-Viper." So while there are multiple names, they are all based on the "Neo-Viper" specialty.
