Elite-Viper was released in Collection 2 Wave 3 of the G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra toy line in 2009.
Elite-Viper was re-released in the Toys R Us exclusive Troop Builder 5 Pack, Set 2 of 2 along with Duke (v39), M.A.R.S. Industries Officer (v2), M.A.R.S. Industries Trooper, and Neo-Viper (v9).
In 2010, Hasbro released the Street-Viper, a figure identical to this one. Take care not to confuse the two.

Single Carded
For the single carded release, Elite-Viper came with black body armor, a black backpack, a silver spring-loaded missile launcher, a blue missile, two black submachine guns, a black pistol, a gray axe, and a black display stand.
5 Pack
For the 5 Pack release, Elite-Viper came with black body armor, a black backpack, a black shotgun, a black pistol, a black dog with silver chain, and a black display stand.
