Cobra Eel (version 6) was released with the Wave Crusher in the first wave of Target exclusive vehicle packs of the G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra toy line in 2009.
Cobra Eel came with a black and silver helmet, black and green shoulder pads, a black and green backpack with removable jets, two black flippers, a black and green speargun, two black and silver knives, a two-piece black cardboard briefcase, a white cardboard insert, and a black display stand.
Cobra Eel (version 6) was created using the torso, waist, upper arms, and legs of Lt. Torpedo (2008) with the head and lower arms of Cobra Eel (v4) (2008).
