Wild Weasel (version 6) was released with the third wave of comic packs in 2008 celebrating the 25th Anniversary of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero. The pack also included Capt Ace, a reprint of issue 115 of the Marvel series, and a mail-in redemption offer for "Operation: Rescue Doc".
The figure was later rereleased with some slight changes as the pilot for the Target-exclusive Rattler.

Filecard Information
Variations
Wild Weasel was available carded as part of the Comic Pack #115 or boxed with the Target-exclusive Rattler. Along with the packaging differences came different filecards and accessories. Additionally, there are slight differences in the figures themselves. The blue on the neck of the Rattler-packaged Wild Weasel is lighter in hue, and the paint mask on the belt buckle is sharper.
Body Construction
Wild Weasel (version 6) was created using the body of Snow Job (v3) (2008) with a new head.
