Lt. Gorky (v2) was released as an online exclusive, a part of Wave 4, the twenty second series (2006).
The figure was included in a Comic 3 Pack, reprinting Marvel's Issue 101. The pack included the following:
Lt. Gorky v2 came with a black rifle, a brown holster, and a black pistol.

There are no known variations of Lt. Gorky v2.
Lt. Gorky v2 features an all-new head sculpt. His torso was originally used to make G.I. Joe, Action Marine, and Grunt v8. His arms were originally used to make Headman v1, Headman v2 and Shrage. His waist and legs were originally used to make Action Marine and Grunt v8.
