COIL Trooper was released as part of the 2006 G.I.Joe Convention ("Heroes Unite" in New Orleans, LA) exclusive Cobra's Most Wanted: Mercenaries! box set from the Official G.I. Joe Collector's Club. The set included: Cobra Mortal, Major Bludd v7, Overlord v2, six Coil Troopers, and six Skull Squad Troopers.

Versions of COIL Trooper:

This was the only version of COIL Trooper made.

Accessories:

COIL Trooper came with a gray machine gun, a gray rifle, and a figure stand.

Body Construction:

COIL Trooper features the head sculpt of Decimator (1990) and the torso, waist, arms, and legs are made from the sculpt of T.A.R.G.A.T. (1989) and T.A.R.G.A.T. v2 (1993).
