Crimson Guard was released as part of the twenty-first series (2005), as part of the Toys R Us exclusive Crimson Guard Force set.
Two different versions of the set were available, one featuring Tomax (v5) and the other featuring Xamot (v5). Both sets also included Firefly (v13) and four Crimson Guard (v6) figures.
While Crimson Guard (v6) closely resembles Crimson Guard (v4), small differences such as the Cobra logo color exist.

No variations of Crimson Guard (v6) are known to exist.
Body Construction
Crimson Guard (v5) was made from the torso, legs, and waist of Crimson Guard (1985), upper arms from Duke (v3) (1992), and lower arms from Shockwave (v3) (1992). The head was a new sculpt.
All parts except for the head were used to make Agent Faces (v2) (2003).
The same combination of body parts were used to make Crimson Guard (v3) (2004), Crimson Guard (v4) (2004), Crimson Guard (v5) (2004), and Crimson Guard (v8) (2005).
