Figure Description:

General Abernathy was released in a three pack as part of the twentieth series (2004). The pack also included Double Clutch (v2), Sgt. Stalker (v5), and a reprint of issue three of the comic book.


Versions of General Abernathy:

In 1991 Hawk was renamed "General Hawk", in 2000 renamed "General Tomahawk", in 2004 renamed "General Abernathy", and in 2008 renamed "G.I. Joe Hawk". So while there are several names, there are a total of fifteen figures based on the character "Hawk".


Accessories:


General Abernathy came with two black grenades, a black rifle, and a black pistol.

No variations of General Abernathy are known to exist.


Body Construction:

General Abernathy's legs were shared with General Hawk (1991), General Tomahawk (2000) and General Tomahawk (v2) (2002), and also used to make Sgt. Stalker (v5) (2004).

General Abernathy's waist was shared with Roadblock (v2) (1986), Guile (1993), Guile (v2) (1993), Rock n Roll (v5) (1997) and Breaker (v2) (1997) and also used to make Sgt. Stalker (v5) (2004).

General Abernathy's arms were shared with Grunt (1982), Hawk (1982), Short-fuze (1982), Snake Eyes (1982), Zap (1982), Grunt (v2) (1983), Stalker (v6) (1997), Grunt (v4) (1997), Short-Fuse (v2) (1997), Snake Eyes (v7) (1997), Zap (v3) (1997), Snake-Eyes (v15) (2003), Snake-Eyes (v16) (2003), and Sgt. Stalker (v5) (2004). The upper arms only were shared with Snow Job (1983).

General Abernathy's torso was shared Breaker (1982), Grunt (1982), Hawk (1982), Snake Eyes (1982), Grunt (v2) (1983), Stalker (v6) (1997), Grunt (v4) (1997), Snake Eyes (v7) (1997), Snake-Eyes (v15) (2003), Snake-Eyes (v16) (2003), and Sgt. Stalker (v5) (2004).

General Abernathy's head was an entirely new sculpt.
