Carded Figure (w/Cobra Moray)

Wet-Suit's Filecard

Figure Description:

Wet-Suit was released as part of the eighteenth series (2002), carded in a two-pack with Cobra Moray.

Versions of Wet-Suit:

Accessories:

Wet-Suit came with a black and silver helmet, a silver harpoon gun, a beige flashlight, two black flippers (one left foot and one right foot), and a black backpack.

The packaging also included a color background.

Variations:

The very earliest carded Wet-Suit had slight packaging differences. Among them - the text on the back of the card described Cobra as a "terrorist" organization, and the figures were posed to have the heads looking at each other.

Later carded figures had no mention of the word "terrorist", the figure heads looked out and not at each other, and the packaging included the 2002 figure catalog.

These later packagings also included a new colored background that no longer had the white "explosions" around the figure. The filecard for Wet-Suit was also changed by removing the text "The name Brian C. Forrest does not apply to any known, living person," and adding the text "Characters and events referenced herein are fictional and are not intended to depict actual characters and events."

Body Construction:

Wet-Suit had an entirely new body sculpt. The same mold was used to create Wet-Suit (v8) (2002).

Note the changes made from previous versions of 3 3/4" figures - including new waist construction.
