Variations:

No variations of Cobra Slice are known to exist.

Some versions of the carded figure two-pack came with a sticker promoting the G.I.Joe cartoons on Cartoon Network.

The carded two-pack was also available in special plastic packaging with a free bonus figure of either Mirage (v2) or Cobra Viper (v6) as a K-Mart Exclusive Bonus Pack.

Slice was also available loose with the carded two-pack of Big Ben (v4) and Cobra Alley Viper (v5) as a K-Mart Exclusive Bonus Pack.

Body Construction:

The same mold was used to create the original Slice (1993), Slice (v2) (1993) and Slice (v3/Shadow Ninja) (1994).

Since the original mold was a "Ninja Force" body mold, Slice's body was designed with a "real ninja move". Slice's spring-loaded right arm could be pushed back, then released, causing it to spring forward in a punching motion. For Cobra Slice (v4), this feature remained but was not advertised on the packaging.

The blocks to keep the torso fixed in place, added during production on the original Slice (1993), were removed from Cobra Slice (v4). This is evident on the inside of the waist and torso joint.

Note that Slice has a cloth ribbon attached to his right hip and to the back of his head.
