The U.S. military relies on special agents to gather information about the plans of its enemies. These agents put their lives on the line to find and bring back this important knowledge. One of these agents is AGENT SCARLETT. She started her counterintelligence work by analyzing evidence, setting up surveillance equipment and preparing reports. After she proved her abilities in small missions, she began to conduct full operations. Much of her job is finding and verifying information, but that's dangerous work when you're dealing with sources that are part of the evil COBRA organization. Her latest assignment is to track the mysterious STORM SHADOW, who used be with the GI JOE team but is now part of COBRA. Has he really joined the enemy, or is he working undercover? AGENT SCARLETT intends to find out.
"People ask me what it takes to be a good agent. I say: integrity, courage, and intelligence."
Variations
No variations of Agent Scarlett are known to exist.
Some versions of the carded figure two-pack came with a sticker promoting the G.I.Joe cartoons on Cartoon Network.
Body Construction
Agent Scarlett (version 2) is made from the same mold as the original Agent Scarlett (2002).
Additional points of articulation were added to several new 2002 figures. Agent Scarlett has a swivel in her left thigh just above the knee. Additionally her left knee has an external rivet rather than an internal pin like her right leg. Note the return of the O-ring design absent from earlier new figures from 2002.
Versions of Agent Scarlett
In 2002, Scarlett was renamed "Agent Scarlett," renamed Scarlett in 2004, and went back to Agent Scarlett for a 2005 release. So while there are multiple names, they are all based on the character "Scarlett."
